LNGC Re-Liquefaction plant retrofit
HD Hyundai Marine Solution is networked with major re-liquefaction plant suppliers and repair shipyards, and provides re-liquefaction plant renovation services to reduce loss of cargo by re-liquefying BOG during LNGC operation.
Surplus BOG treatment is required if LNGC, which consumes LNG fuel, consumes less gas than BOG when sailing at low speed.
As a treatment method, the gas combustion unit (GCU) or re-liquefaction equipment can be used, but considering the economic feasibility and the environmental issues, installing a re-liquefaction plant is the best solution in all aspects.

FSRU Conversion
HD Hyundai Marine Solution is networked with suppliers of major equipment needed for FSRU and repair shipyards, and thereby provides FSRU retrofit services that can provide high customer satisfaction through its FSRU engineering experience in various concepts.
When Moss and Membrane-type LNGCs are converted into FSRUs, customers will be able to receive required services with a much shorter lead time at a lower budget compared to building a new ship. Additionally, upon FSRU conversion, Regas module is installed essentially, and whether or not to install other modules and equipment will be determined based on the customer’s requirements.
HD Hyundai Marine Solution has completed the acquisition of Approval in Principle (AiP) and execution of HAZID Workshop for 400 mmscfd Regas module design with KR and DNV.
